This is a picture that captures my heart. It brings my maternal instincts to protect this baby, to full attention....teeth bared, ears back, hair standing up, and one vicious growl.....with a promise to fight to the death to save my baby. I used to own a cotton farm in Louisiana, and a few grey wolves had a den on my property. I would leave my deer cullings to them. They were fed well, and so beautiful. A few rednecks caught sight of the pack at dusk, and thought they were going to hunt my babies....on my property. I heard the truck drive down a turn-row, and hopped on my 4-wheeler, with my 40 cal on my hip, and cell in pocket, and followed them. When they got out of the truck, I had called the sherriffs office, and told them that deer poachers were on my land....the game warden heard my call too....within minutes, my farm was swamped with highway patrol, sherriffs department, and 3 game wardens. The rednecks just fell down. I was nearly hysterical by this point. The dumb asses had unregistered firearms, open containers, and a half pound of weed. I was rolling on the ground, at this point. My babies escaped, and the would be pochers, got 20 for possession with the intent to distribute. Don't get me wrong, I love mother Earths fruits, I just have a very good knowledge of Louisiana laws. It's good to have speed dial....LOL!
